SoftBank Robotics opened its new 1,000-square-meter Logistics Innovation Laboratory to the public in Chiba, Japan on September 12th, 2022. The laboratory aims to present innovative logistics automation solutions and is covered by more than 100 media of related industries, including Japanese TV station NHK, Robot Start inc., L News, and other television networks, newspapers, and magazines.

XYZ Robotics and SoftBank Robotics have conducted ecological cooperation in constructing the smart logistics industry chain.

The laboratory exhibited warehouse solutions like AutoStore, RFID, the mobile sorter, and the shutter-like sorting system. XYZ Robotics presented a vision-guided mixed-case depalletizing and palletizing robot with a high loading rate and high efficiency. The robot can handle two orders' pallets at the same time, and handlers can learn its operation status or switch pick-and-place modes on a smart and user-friendly HMI.

On September 13th at the Logis-Tech Tokyo, one of the largest logistics exhibitions in Asia, XYZ Robotics presented depalletizing and palletizing solutions through SoftBank Robotics’ booth, expanding its influence in overseas markets.

In the future, XYZ Robotics and SoftBank Robotics will conduct an in-depth cooperation to provide smarter and more flexible logistics solutions.
