XYZ Robotics announces the full-scale rollout of RockyOne across Nitori Group, Japan’s largest home furnishings retailer. The expansion follows successful operational pilots that began in June 2025 at the Satte Distribution Center, operated by Home Logistics, Nitori’s logistics subsidiary.

The pilots proved RockyOne’s stable performance in unloading operations. Following its initial deployment in Satte, deployment will expand sequentially to major regional hubs in Sendai, Nagoya, and Fukuoka, marking a significant step in Nitori’s logistics automation strategy.

Enhancing Warehouse Productivity with RockyOne

RockyOne offers a proven solution to the structural challenges within the Japanese logistics sector, such as labor shortages and the physical strain of manual unloading. The robot automates high-intensity handling tasks, delivering a predictable and efficient throughput of 400–1,200 cases per hour.

Powered by AI-based perception and manipulation technologies, RockyOne autonomously moves and handles various cartons weighing up to 30 kg. This ensures consistent performance across shifts while significantly reducing physical strain for warehouse staff.
